INFORMATION

This is an Champion based build focusing on the Skill Double Strike. This Build is insanely powerfull and it's probably going to be nerfed on 3.4, so try it while you can :P

Pros

  • Cheap

  • Easy to play

  • Damage is beyond crazy

  • League starter and finisher

  • Good Clear Speed

Cons

  • Abyssus is Highly Recommended (up to 50% more damage taken)

  • Need Melee Splash and Ancestral Call to achieve a good level of Clear Speed.

EQUIPMENT
  • BODY ARMOUR
- I recommend a Belly of The Beast, it provides up to 40% increased maximum life and 15% to all elemental resistances.
- A Lightning Coil is also an awesome choice because it provides "30% of physical damage taken as lightning damage" It helps to endure the extra damage taken because of Abyssus.   
- ​You can also use a rare body armour with life, elemental resistances and armour. Examples here.
  • MAIN HAND SWORD
- ​A rare Jewelled Foill with at least 300 physical dps and attack speed. Examples here.
- A great budget alternative is to use a Ahn's Might that can reach 354 physical DPS, 25% critical chance and 50% critical multiplier.
  • OFF-HAND WEAPON
- ​The best unique choice here would be a Rigwald's Savagery, it provides 40% increased physical damage while dual wielding, 15% attack speed and 35% attack speed with swords. Unfortunately it is very rare and expensive these days.
- Don't worry because I have a great budget alternative for you! It is the Death's Hand that provides 50% increased critical chance, power charges and Unholy Might.
- If you are like this, you can use a good stat stick with lots of extra damage. Examples here.
  • HELMET
​Abyssus is for sure the best helmet for this build, it increases your damage by a LOT. The downside is that you take up to 50% more physical damage while wearing it.
- Starkonja's Head is a good alternative if you want to stay safe, it provides up to 100 maximum life and a huge evasion buff when on low life.
Rat's Nest is a good balance between defensive (Starkonja's) and offensive (Abyssus), it provides 15% attack speed and up to 75% increased critical chance.

  • Is there a good place to buy unique items?
- Not only for unique items, poe.trade or pathofexile.com/trade are great websites for trading your items.
  • I'm lvl 40 and I'm dying a lot, what can I do?
- Please take a look at your Elemental Resistances, they are really important for your survivability. After lvl 40 try to keep at least 50% of each. The meximum is 75%, try to reach that when on end game.
  • I don't have as much HP as the gameplay shows and I've followed the Skill Tree step by step. Can you help me?
- Look for more HP at your rare gear. You can have ''+89 to maximum life'' on your helmet for instance.
  • You say the build is cheap, but there are some expensive recommended items there. How?
- Those items are only recommended and not mandatory for this build to work. Maximize a build with the best possible items and 6 Linkeds takes a good amount of currency. Start using 4 Linkeds on low tier maps in order to farm currency to upgrade your gear.
  • I don’t have awesome clones like you do, what am I doing wrong?
- You’ll start creating clones when you replace Double Strike for Vaal Double Strike. But remember that you need to cast Vaal Double Strike twice in order to create 4 clones.
  • When should I replace Double Strike for Vaal Double Strike?
- As soon as you can! Now Vaal Double Strike also grants the Regular Double Strike, so you don’t lose anything. I recommend you to only cast Vaal Double Strike on bosses.
  • Why Immortal Call if you don't generate endurance charges?
- Endurance charges are not mandatory for Immortal Call to work, they just make it last longer. 
  • Why Cast When Damage Taken  at level 1 and Immortal Call at level 3?
- Cast When Damage Taken can only support spell gems that have the same required level or lower.  At level 1 the required level of Cast When Damage Taken is 38, the same as Immortal Call at level 3. 
  • Cast When Damage Taken cannot trigger Vaal skills, why do you put them on the same setup?
- Vaal Haste is not there to be triggered by Cast When Damage Taken, but to be supported by Increased Duration.
