LANCING STEEL

BUILD

INFORMATION

This is a Deadeye based build focusing on the Skill Lancing Steel. Now imagine you 2 clones of yourself using an skill that fires over 40 Projectiles. Yeah this build is pretty crazy and intense.

Pros

  • Cheap

  • Easy to play

  • Awesome Clear Speed

  • Awesome Single Target Damage

  • Outstanding Life Leech

Cons

  • Evasion dependent

  • Might drop your FPS

EQUIPMENT
  • BODY ARMOUR
- Kintsugi is the best body armour for survivability, it provides up to 1689 Evasion, +80 Life, 30% Fire Resistance, 20% reduced damage taken if you haven't been hit recently, 50% increased Evasion if you have been hit recently. Combined with Wind Dancer (From skill Tree) and Wind Ward (Froms Ascendancy), you have a total of 70% less damage taken.
- The best offensive body armour for this build would be an Elder one with a lot life, and more critical strike chance for attacks. Examples here.
- As a budget option I recommend a Belly of The Beast, it provides up to 40% increased maximum life and 15% to all elemental resistances.
  • SWORDS
- Beltimber is cheap and excellent for this build, It has up to 328 DPS, 20 Increased Attack Speed, 80% Increased Evasion and 2 extra projectiles.
- If currency is not a problem you can treat yourself a rare foil with high physical DPS, Attack speed and Critical Chance. But keep in mind that Beltimber is super cheap and grants almost the same DPS as a foil like this. Examples here.
  • HELMET
- The best helmet for this build is a rare one with life, evasion and enemies take 9% increased physical damage. Examples here.
- Starkonja's Head is a great budget helmet if you want to stay safe, it provides up to 100 maximum life and a huge evasion buff when on low life.
Rat's Nest is a great budget helmet if you want to be more offensive, it provides 15% attack speed and up to 75% increased critical chance.
  • GLOVES
- Rare gloves with life, elemental resistances and evasion. Examples here.
  • BOOTS
- Rare boots with movement speed, life, elemental resistances and evasion. Examples here.
  • BELT
- A rare belt with life, strength and elemental resistances. Examples here.
  • RING #1
- If you get a rare ring with "Life gained for each enemy hit by your attacks" you'll have almost instant life leech. But don't worry if you can't buy one. Poacher's Mark already grants 50 Life on hit. Just don't forget to use it on bosses and you'll be fine. Examples here.
- A rare ring with life, Intelligence and elemental resistances. Examples here.
  • RING #2
- A rare ring with life, Intelligence and elemental resistances. Examples here.
  • AMULET
- A rare amulet with life, Strength and elemental resistances. Examples here.
  • FLASKS
- Divine Life Flasks. Look for mods like ''instant recovery'' and ''removes freeze''. Examples here.
- Diamond Flask for more critical strikes. Look for mods like "increased duration" and "increased armour during flask effect". Examples here.
- A Jade Flask is really important because it grants +3000 Evasion. Best mods are Increased Duration and Increased Evasion. Examples here
- Quicksilver Flask for more clear speed. Examples here.
- Sulphur Flask is great because it grants 40% increased damage and creates a consecrated ground that causes enemies to take more critical hits. Examples here.
- Dying Sun is awesome for this build, In the final count it grants 6 Extra Projectiles.
  • ENCHANTMENTS
- Helmet: Chance to not spend steel shards
- Gloves: Of Fury
- Boots: Movement Speed
P.S. Enchantments are not super important, so don't feel bad if you don't have the right ones ;)

THIS BUILD'S FAQ
  • Is there a good place to buy unique items?
- Not only for unique items, poe.trade or pathofexile.com/trade are great websites for trading your items.
  • I'm lvl 40 and I'm dying a lot, what can I do?
- Please take a look at your Elemental Resistances, they are really important for your survivability. After lvl 40 try to keep at least 50% of each. The meximum is 75%, try to reach that when on end game.
  • I don't have as much HP as the gameplay shows and I've followed the Skill Tree step by step. Can you help me?
- Look for more HP at your rare gear. You can have ''+89 to maximum life'' on your helmet for instance.
  • You say the build is cheap, but there are some expensive recommended items there. How?
- Those items are only recommended and not mandatory. Maximize a build with the best possible items and 6 Linkeds takes a good amount of currency. Start using 4 Linkeds on low tier maps in order to farm currency to upgrade your gear.
