Legacy of Phrecia Event Guide – Rewards, New Ascendancies, and Third Edict Mystery Box
The Legacy of Phrecia is returning to Path of Exile with a special event experience focused on alternate Ascendancy classes, areas influenced by map modifiers, and tougher boss encounters.
Every area will roll a random number of map modifiers that scales with area level, and some modifiers that could brick builds, such as reflect, have been removed from the pool.

At the end of the event, your items and characters will transfer to parent leagues. Upon migration, your Ascendancy points will be respecced and your character will be assigned one of the core Ascendancy classes.
WHAT MAKES THIS EVENT DIFFERENT?
In this event, the 19 Ascendancy classes you’re used to will be replaced with brand-new ones, allowing completely new playstyles.
Some examples mentioned include:
Becoming a Servant of Arakaali and raising spiders
Using nature powers as the Daughter of Oshabi
Ascending into a Harbinger
If you didn’t play the original Legacy of Phrecia event, you can still check out the Ascendancies. Balance changes happened, and patch notes will be available before the event begins.
IDOLS AND MODIFIERS
Idols are returning, and new modifiers have been added for the Settlers League and Atlas Memories, while Breach modifiers have been disabled.
Every area will also roll a random number of map modifiers, scaling with area level. Some modifiers that could brick builds, such as reflect, have been removed from the pool.
BOSSES AND UNIQUE MONSTERS
Campaign bosses and some Pinnacle encounters will feature new mechanics.
In addition, all unique monsters will enrage on low life.
EVENT REWARDS
By reaching levels 50 and 90, you will automatically receive a Third Edict Mystery Box.
If you already own all contents from this Mystery Box series, you will receive 2x Atlantis Mystery Box instead.
WHAT’S IN THE THIRD EDICT MYSTERY BOX?

The Third Edict Mystery Box contains many cosmetic microtransactions, most with multiple variations.
These cosmetics do not affect your character’s power or progression.
You have an equal chance of opening each type of microtransaction, but some variations can be rarer than others, and you will not receive duplicate copies of variations you already own.
This box includes cosmetics such as:
Fractured Dreamer and Fractured Nightmare armor sets (plus alternate helmet and back attachments)
Fracturing character effects and matching weapon skins
Goblin Shaman and Goblin Witch Doctor armor sets with matching cosmetics
Portal cosmetics like Shifting Paintings and Shifting Doors
Forge Master’s map device effect and the Molten Portal effect
Level up effects like Sanguine, Crystalline, and Gilded Explosion
Quicksilver flask effects like Ghoul and Rolling Waves
Charge effects that change Endurance, Frenzy, and Power charges
Fractured Rhoa and Cardoory Rhoa cosmetics
Hideout well decorations that let you turn in Divination Cards
Voice lines and Doryani-themed finisher effects
The Third Edict Mystery Box is available through the in-game shop, and any cosmetics unlocked in Path of Exile 2 will also immediately be available in Path of Exile 1.
