The new 0.2.0h update for Path of Exile 2 brings a wide range of improvements based on community feedback, including quality of life enhancements, visual upgrades, bug fixes, and functional changes to core gameplay systems. In this post, you’ll find a full and accurate breakdown of everything included in Patch 0.2.0h, straight from the official GGG announcement.

Private Leagues
Private Leagues will become available with the launch of Patch 0.2.0h. For now, they can be created through the Path of Exile 1 website. These leagues won’t include any extra mods at this stage, but their functionality is set to expand soon. GGG prioritized releasing this feature quickly so players could start fresh economies either solo or with friends.
Quick-Use Currency for Strongboxes and Essences
A quality of life feature adds Quick-Use buttons below Strongboxes and Essences. These buttons show the most relevant currency depending on the item's state and only if the player has that currency in their inventory.
For example:
Unidentified Strongboxes show a Wisdom Scroll
Normal rarity Strongboxes show an Orb of Transmutation
Strongboxes with one magic modifier show an Orb of Augmentation
Higher rarities may display Orbs of Alchemy, Exalted Orbs, or Regal Orbs
Divine Orbs are excluded on purpose to avoid costly mistakes.
Essences now include a Vaal Orb button, allowing players to quickly corrupt them into Corrupted Essences.
Breach Improvements
Breach encounters have been significantly improved, especially in narrow areas. Key changes include:
Minimum Breach duration (if no monsters are killed) increased from 12 to 20 seconds
Killing Magic or Rare monsters now extends the Breach timer more effectively
All Breach Splinters dropped during the encounter are now vacuumed and dropped at your location when the Breach ends
In parties, multiple stacks drop and are randomly distributed
Azmerian Wisp Improvements
Two major adjustments were made:
Activating a second Wisp while chasing a current one now ensures both target the same Rare monster
The Spirit of the Spring Hare and Spirit of the Fox are now three times more common, leading to more exciting and rewarding scenarios
Rogue Exile Visibility Fixes
Rogue Exiles had a large aggro range, making their health bars appear before they were visible. That aggro range has been reduced, so now they’re more likely to appear on-screen before the life bar pops up.
Additional fixes include:
Minimap icons added once they engage in combat
Much brighter lighting on their models, helping them stand out in darker areas
Item Drop Improvements
Following earlier loot changes, Patch 0.2.0h improves drop rates for several rare items that were still too hard to find:
Perfect Jeweller's Orbs
Level 20 Uncut Skill Gems
Level 20 Uncut Spirit Gems
These items are still rare but should now appear earlier in your endgame progression.
Item Labels for Important Loot
For players not using custom filters, labels for specific high value items now include highlighted outlines to help them stand out:
Precursor Tablets
Expedition Logbooks
Expedition Chests
Shrine Changes
Two Shrines have been disabled due to their negative effects:
Greed Shrine
Corrupting Shrine
Other changes include:
Rare Shrines like Diamond Shrine and Divine Shrine now spawn more frequently
Most Shrines now last longer: some increased to 90 seconds, others to 60 seconds (previously 45 seconds)
New Stash Tabs
Two new stash tabs will be available in the microtransaction store shortly after the patch:
Ritual Stash Tab: stores Omens and Audience with the King fragments
Socketable Stash Tab: holds Runes, Talismans, and Soul Cores, and includes a button to upgrade Runes between tiers no Reforging Bench required
Other Miscellaneous Improvements
The Corridor skill from Arbiter of Ash now has much clearer visuals
Bindable hotkeys added to allocate Strength, Dexterity, or Intelligence in the passive tree
A new batch of supporter-designed items has been added to the Twilight Reliquary Key
Charms can now be stored in Flask Stash Tabs or any tab with Flask affinity
A quick-travel-to-Town button added to the right side of the Waypoint screen
Ctrl + Right-Click now moves all currency of the same type in bulk
A filter has been added to sort Unidentified Items by Item Tier
15 separate client or instance crashes have been fixed
Patch Deployment
GGG expects Patch 0.2.0h to go live by the end of the week. Work is already underway on the next update, bringing even more gameplay and quality of life improvements to Path of Exile 2.
Conclusion:
Patch 0.2.0h reflects GGG’s commitment to improving both the player experience and game stability in Path of Exile 2. With targeted updates to mechanics like Breach, Rogue Exiles, Azmerian Wisps, and loot systems, this patch delivers meaningful upgrades for both early and late game players.
